Our Story
By the leading of the Holy Spirit on October 1928, the late Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola founded Christ Apostolic Church in Ilesha, a town in Osun State, Nigeria.
Since that time, the spirit of Pentecostalism and Evangelism has never been the same in Nigeria till today. Nigeria remains the international headquarters of Christ Apostolic Church. Following the footsteps of late Apostle Joseph A. Babalola, Christ Apostolic Church of America, Inc. was planted in 1981 by the late Apostle (Dr) T.O. Obadare, the founder and first Executive Director of the World Soul-Winning Evangelistic Ministry, who had a burning desire for souls of Nigerians and other nationals abroad.
THE WORLD SOUL WINNING EVANGELISTIC MINISTRY, which has been abbreviated as WOSEM is a strong evangelistic arm of the Christ Apostolic Church with its branches stretching across the length and breadth of Nigeria and beyond. Christ Apostolic Church WOSEM has remained consistent with the divine mandate to evangelize the world and win souls for the kingdom of God.
